[Village Priorities for 2017] 1 question answered

What three priorities would you like to see the Village Board adopt or address in 2016?
Orland Park is not a pedestrian-friendly community, especially on the west side of the village (west of 108th Avenue). Please consider constructing bike paths along Wolf Road and 143rd Street, and maintain existing ones. Many paths on the west side of the village are in disrepair., The village owns a number of facilities that are not equipped with modern technology or environmentally-friendly procedures. In my opinion, renovations at existing facilities would benefit users more than acquiring more facilities that haven't been updated for 25+ years., There are virtually no "must-see" tourist destinations in the village besides Orland Square Mall. Should people from other towns want to visit, there are not many things for them to do besides shopping or eating. In the Main Street area, invest in something that would attract people from other towns. We have more than enough restaurants and stores, so maybe a theater (i.e. Drury Lane) or special attraction which can host some village-sponsored events throughout the year.
