[Village Priorities for 2017] 1 question answered

What three priorities would you like to see the Village Board adopt or address in 2016?
I truly appreciate when I see police out and about patrolling neighborhoods. It makes me feel confident in the safety of our community--especially as a mom of school age children. I loved seeing police biking past our house last summer. If they could do more of that, I think it would benefit our community. , I know of several families who are currently living in the city; due to easy commute. Like many of us, they are out growing their city home and are looking to the suburbs for space and good schools. Every time I talk about all the benefits in Orland Park, they cite the long and infrequent train schedule. The western suburbs seems more accommodating to those who professionals looking to commute into the city. I think it would benefit Orland if we could get an express train into the city.
